Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML)
Symptoms
During the early stages of CML most people do not have any symptoms. When symptoms do develop they include:
- Tiredness that will not go away
- Unexplained weight loss
- Fever
- Shortness of breath
- Night sweats
- Abdominal pain from a swollen spleen
- Poor appetite
People who have any of these symptoms should consult with their doctor. None of these symptoms prove that a person has CML, and only a trained oncologist or hematologist can make a diagnosis.
